Egg Biryani, absolutely delicious recipe! A simple to make super recipe of Egg Biryani, that your family will love. An easy and great dish for egg lovers.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Basmati Rice
  • 1 tsp Biryani Masala powder
  • Ghee
  • 6 eggs
  • Water
  • 1 tbsp Ginger and Garlic paste
  • 4 Green Chillies
  • Oil
  • 1 Onion large
  • 2 cup Plain Yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • Whole spices-cardamon,cloves,cinnamon stick,bay leaves and shazeera
  • Fresh Coriander/Cilantro Leaves and Mint leaves-finely chopped
Method:
  • Wash and soak rice for atleast ½ hour.
  • Next boil the eggs and then shell the boiled eggs and give four long cuts on the white portion of each egg without separating it.
  • In a khadhai or pot, heat the ghee or oil.Add whole garam masala spices and onions,fry the onions until they become golden brown and then add ginger and garlic paste ,green chillies ,mint leaves,coriander leaves,biryani masala and curd and cook.
  • And then add 1 1/2 times the amount of water to rice and bring it to boil.
  • Next add the soaked rice and mix well and cook covered till rice is done.
  • Meanwhile take a small bowl add red chilli powder,salt,gram flour(besan), 1 beaten egg and mix well.Next Dip each boiled egg into the mixture and keep aside.
  • Take a pan add butter and fry the eggs for few mins and then remove and keep aside.
  • Now check the rice,when the air holes appear on the rice surface, reduce the stove heat to low. Cook until all of the water has absorbed and the rice is tender.
  • When the rice is cooked top it with eggs.
  • Serve hot.
