Moist and delicious Banana bread made with ripe bananas.So if you find ripe bananas in your kitchen don’t toss them away instead bake banana bread. 

  • 4 ripe Bananas
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts or Silvered Almonds
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips-optional
  • 2 Eggs
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup of All Purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup of Sugar
  • Preheat oven at 350*F/ 180*C.
  • Break and mash the ripe bananas in a bowl and set aside.
  • Next melt the butter and give a quick stir so it is in liquid paste form.To the butter add sugar,eggs,vanilla extract and mix it.And then add the mashed bananas and mix well.
  • Sieve all purpose flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt into the bowl and mix it gently.
  • Next drop the walnuts,almonds and raisins.You can replace the dry fruits with chocolate chips or cocoa powder.Don’t over mix the batter or it will end up into a hard bread.
  • Pour the batter into a loaf tin lined with parchment paper and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  • Once it is baked,leave the baked banana to cool at room temperature for 10-12 minutes.
  • Peel of the parchment paper and slice it using bread knife.
  • Enjoy the fresh and moist banana bread.
