  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp whole dhania seeds, white zeera and black zeera
  • 1 Onion-chopped
  • 3 tbsp Yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp Coriander powder
  • 1tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1tsp Mango powder(Amchur)
  • 1tsp Chole Masala Powder
  • 2 cans Chick peas
  • Kasoori methi
  • Coriander leaves-chopped
    • Heat the ghee and oil together. Add the dry spices; and let them get fragrant and then add onions and fry them golden.
    • Next mix all spices with the yogurt and tomato paste or chopped tomatoes.
    • Add the chickpeas and mix by adding a glass of water.Cover and cook on low heat.
    • Its up to you, how much consistency you want to leave. Accordingly add more water or let it dry off.
    • Garnish with chopped onions and coriander leaves.
